Keith Forde

Folk // Limerick, Limerick

Keith is an Irish singer/songwriter hailing from the crossroads of folk-rock authenticity and 90s indie nostalgia.

He found solace and inspiration in the transformative power of music from an early age, forming his first band in his early teens. Over the years, he has honed his skills as a songwriter, drawing inspiration from the world around him and the experiences that shape his life.
This has led to him playing live in Ireland, England, Scotland, Canada and the US and working with established musicians like Nick Seymour from Crowded House, Noel Hogan and Fergal Lawler from The Cranberries, music producers Kieran Lynch (REM, Elvis Costello), Declan Gaffney (U2, Ian Brown, Van Morrison) and Julian Hinton (Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood) to name a few.

He has co-written songs that have been played on TV shows on ITV, RTE & CBS and have graced the top 30 of the official Irish charts. He is also the co-writer of the Hotpress song of the year and was a folk/singer-songwriter category winner (out of 15,000 entries) in the International Songwriting Competition in Nashville. He was a BBC introducing artist of the week and played at the BBC introducing live music session in Worcester.

His love affair with music is defined by the simple joy of creating something original and sharing it with others. For as long as there are stories to tell and melodies to sing, he will continue to write, record, and perform, his love for music burning bright.
