What seemed like the end was only the beginning. Black Robots in its current incarnation began at a party in a Warehouse on the outskirts of Waterford city. Sarah Grimes and Deen O'Saurus began as strangers with nothing in common other than the fact that they had something that worked musically. One windowless room and a month of jamming and they had a set and a half of songs. Having played with acts like Tricky and in Venues such as the Hope and Anchor in London and many other well respected venues around Ireland as well as festival slots at the Hard Working Class Heroes festival and Coors light Peak Festival, Black Robots have found their live feet. Black Robots have extensive air play on local and national radio stations as well as being invited to play a session on 2fm by Dan Hegarty. There is something very primal about the music, its raw, melodic and unexplainably theirs. With an album and ep due out in 2010 Black Robots would like to meet you...
