Clubfoot sat for a little while rubbing his feet after a long and intrepid journey, the city's unbridled sounds permeated his ears. As modernity screamed and the sirens whaled they combined to create a cacophony of sound. It is epic and alluring, exciting and consuming, and everything that he wants his music to be.

Fueled by his encounter, he takes a deep and meaningful breath then rises to his f...eet with a renewed sense of purpose. He gathers his belongings, swings his guitar over his left shoulder and says... I think I have a idea for a song...

Clubfoot was conceived by singer/songwriter Paul Byrne and was initially set up as a solo project and a platform for new material. It became a two-piece when drummer and percusionist Ryan Doggett joined in 2011. The first set of recordings, all came together thanks to amazing friends whose gave up their time for very little money, or for free. This project would not have got off the ground without them:
