DUBLIN, County Dublin
Fanlights are a young four piece band from Dublin with hints of ethereal wave, neo-psychedelia and dream pop rock. Formed in the summer of 2013, Fanlights have had an exciting year thats seen them play at some of Dublin's biggest venues. They have also preformed at Indie Week Festival Limerick, You Bloom Festival Dublin. Monroes in Galway and a Tour of London playing at the Iconic Dublin Castle, The Stags Head and the Clash Bar. In just over a year, Fanlights have emerged with their new debut EP with the single " Freeze Time" set to be released in September.
The full line up is Jacob Fry on Drums, Matt Keating on Bass, Karl McCrone on guitar and Unamae singer/songwriter. When you listen to their music you are opening that fanlight door into an other worldly house of music.

" With three lads in the back and a frontwoman, the similarities to The Cranberries are not just in passing, With “a bit of an ethereal alternative neo-psychedelia dream pop vibe,” Fanlights are different to other new acts circling the Dublin live scene at the moment. Definitely one to watch."
Bob Crabtree Blogger -
"Unamae Cahill of Fanlights is our female version of Jim Morrison ~ poetic indulgence"

"Fanlights led by strong female vocals, glistening guitars and rhythmic bass / a band that surely have big things in front of them"

"a fine level of songwriting and playing ability/ a fine way about them as a live band to match that intent. One to keep an eye out for this year we feel. "
