Gerry Tully is an Irish singer and songwriter from County Meath. He is a natural musician and has years of experience both with bands and as a solo performer and is an exceptional backing musician for players of Traditional irish Music. It's as a solo performer that Gerry's ability shines and so he turned professional in 2004. During that time he performed across Europe and America. In 2008 Gerry released his debut album “Leaves Float Down” to wide acclaim. An article in Hotpress Magazine commented, “Gerry has a way with a well crafted song". Track 2 on the album was referred to by Hotpress as "the closest thing to Christy Moore or Damien Dempsey bar none".

Gerry also performs well crafted songs from other musicians in the genres of Folk, Ballad, and Smoky Bar Styles from Luke Kelly to Leonard Cohen and Neil Young to Tom Waits. Gerry works from a collection of beautiful songs, a set list that exceeds 200 songs. He has an evocative compelling voice making each song his own and as a guitarist he has unique ability with rhythm and finger styles.

His latest CD offering called “Maverick” is a segment of the genres that Gerry performs regularly. The songs are produced closely to that of his live performance showing the earthy feel and emotive style. His unique interpretation and captivating style are best experienced in his live performance.
