Goatboy is a folk, pop, rock band from Ireland formed by Mark O'Sullivan. Also in the band is Alan Marshall who hales from Scotland , Simeon Kirkegaard and Halvor Mjoen from Norway and Keith Grogan from Dublin. Their music has been compared to the likes of Camera Obscura, Arcade Fire and The Low Anthem. Goatboy made their debut live performance supporting KT Tunstall in the Olympia and more recently got to the final in the Pick for the Picnic battle of the bands in Crawdaddy...Goatboy launched their debut EP Moon After Yule in January 2010 and have just released a live album in April 2012 called Chamber Sessions. Goatboy hope to release their full length album at the beginning of 2013.
