Howl
Since their arrival on the Dublin scene in '08, Howl have been writing, gigging and recording relentlessly honing both their live and studio sound. Their music is ethereal and potent. In a scene largely dominated by colourless offerings Howl strive to create an experimental yet accessible sound.
" Their music, like all good music, is hard to define. It sweeps from smoky blues to anthemic chamber pop and back home to a purple and red tinted after-hours jazz club. The songs are longer than normal – meandering on for 6 or 7 minutes - but some well placed breakdowns and build-ups keep them interesting like some musical Bayeaux tapestry. "
