Jack and the'

Jack and the’ is a project led by Julien Lonchamp, a Frenchman in exile in Edinburgh. Earlier this year the band released their second album "Melody Cycle" on Folkwit Records (UK), Hot Puma Records (Belgium) and ww2w Records (France). "Brimming over with pure joy, delightful melodies, complex orchestration and thoughtful songwriting" (Shindig!), the album features no less than 18 musicians, including the 7-piece Apostrophe Ensemble, and sees the band going full circle between folk, chamber music and jazz. Jack and the' recently embarked on the second leg of their Melody Cycling tour, which has seen them perform in Belgium, France and the UK over the past few months (with no cycling whatsoever involved).
