From Loughrea, Co. Galway. I've been gigging around since I was 13. Started out playin bass with Alien Angel. Then played with Copper Blue, Traffic, Voodoo and The Elastic Band. It was all great craic and I've played with and made some great friends along the way. Shane Keena, Ultan Conlon, Liam Kerrigan to name but a few. Check them out on myspace. For the past few years I've been gigging on my own around Co. Galway. Playing acoustic, ukelele, harmonica and singing in bars and hotels. Originally inspired by Bob Dylan I began writing songs as a young teenager. Down the years I've developed as a musician and songwriter and have been influenced by a broad spectrum of artists and issues, with a heavy emphasis in my songs being placed on being fun, upbeat and positive. Making the best of a bad situation is a recurring theme in the songs. I've been doing home recordings on an 8 Track for the past couple of years and as the response I was getting from playing my songs live was very positive I decided to book some recording time. Early 2009 I spent 2 weeks recording with Pete Lowery in Wild Island Recording Studios. Some of the songs recorded can be heard above. A full album entitled "Way Beyond Imagination"is available now from i-tunes featuring the songs recorded in these sessions. I hope to complete a full album over the next few months which I intend to Play, Record, Edit and Mix myself.
