Meet My Red Sea, a collective of three great friends who formed in the fall of 2008 though a love of melody, rhythm and fuzzy soundscapes! The bands sound has been likened to m83, Joy Division, Broken Social Scene, Sonic Youth and The Redneck Manifesto amongst others. The group is made up of Shane Given on Drums and electronics, David Duffy on Bass and electronics and Gavin White who sings, plays guitar and electronics too. The band have played many successful gigs in Dublin since March 2009 and are beginning to garner the attention of critics and fans alike.
