Radio Room

Alternative // Drimnagh, Dublin

Two years of constant touring and recording have seen Radio Room build up a grass roots following both on the road and online. "Averaging a new EP every three months is no small feat especially when you've been clocking an average of 150+ gigs each year" Robbie Murphy the lead vocalist exclaims.

This hard work was picked up by "Putting out Records" who recently signed Radio Room for their next release. "Radio Room are one of those bands that have something you can't quite put your finger on and I know only too well that when you come across a band with that... You don't put your finger on it, you grab it with both hands!" tells Lar over at "Putting Out records".

Having not only signing a record deal recently, Radio Room have also signed on to the Destroyer Booking Agency in the UK to look after all their bookings in Great Britain. Other talking points the guys have racked up in the last 12 months are things like becoming one of the grand finalist winners at RTE 2XMs "King Kong Club" which won them a slot on Arthur's Day in Whelans, where Mumford and Sons headlined, or showcasing their talents on TG4's PONC XL and have even had radio play and interviews on Dublin's coveted indie radio station "Phantom FM 105.2" or even featuring on Today FM adverts!

2013 has seen a myriad of shows already and a new EP and music video are just about to get released.
Their debut album has just started pre-production and the guys are setting their sights on Irish festivals and UK touring for the next few months.
