Rainbow Corner

Rock // Antrim

Rainbow Corner was formed in March 2007, and are based in Belfast, N. Ireland. The guys have just released their first album, “Songs about everything”, which was launched in front of a packed out audience in Belfast's Kings Head venue. The lads have continued gigging the local Northern Irish circuit playing with various musicians and bands. They have developed their own unique style of 60's/70's inspired indie-rock that has seen them receive extensive airplay on radio stations throughout the UK & Ireland. They have been championed on the local stage by presenters such as John Kearns, Gerry Anderson and Ralph McLean.
The music is raw, melodic, rock n’ roll from a bunch of hardworking guy's with a fine ability to pen addictive tunes. Their influences are The Beatles, Paul Weller, Oasis and The Small Faces. Many other great talents lend energy to the sound Rainbow Corner strive to create - The Band, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan to name but a few.
The bands live performances are hugely energetic, with audiences always left shouting for more. From their first gig in Lavery's bunker in Belfast, Rainbow Corner has steadily built up a very strong support base of fans from across Ireland and further afield. In August 2008, the band successfully toured the East Coast of America, followed by a short 3 night tour in London in October 2008. In July and August, the band will be travelling to London and Dublin for a series of gigs.
