Saccade are a Dublin-based explosion of power-infused rock riffs coupled with catchy pop sensibility. 

Steve Walker (vocals/guitar), Jay Fowler (lead guitar), Ed Kelly (drums/piano) and Neil Dorrington (Bass) prove that when four independently talented musicians cross paths, the result can be mind blowing.
Known for their energetic live shows, their infectious choruses are laden with hooks that will have even the least likely toe-tapper dancing along. With smart lyrics and flawless arrangements, they have received a great deal of praise and support from the Irish media and have been welcomed by venues around the country.

Their first release was their EP ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’. Though it was self-produced and self-engineered, the quality was so impressive that it landed them support slots with some of Ireland’s top up-and-coming acts, and led to their first all-Ireland tour supporting such high-profile Irish acts as The Flaws, The Coronas and Ham Sandwich, as well as taking in several festivals along the way.

In 2011 the band signed to leading Irish indie label Reekus, and released their debut album FORCE OF HABIT that October. Since then Saccade have performed live on several radio and TV shows, as well as playing superb shows in venues such as Crawdaddy, The Grand Social and Stag’s Head Raw. The album also picked up quality airplay and great reviews.
