Stephen Duffin began writing songs on his brother's guitar well before he could sing or even play.
The songs of artists such as Springsteen, Dylan and The Beatles had long captivated his imagination being the mainstay of his father's kitchen record collection.
A few years of practice later, and after touring with college rock band Coalesce, Stephen decided to go solo as a singer/songwriter.
He left the Irish shores bound for America, keen to continue his musical education at every and any opportunity.
Since returning to Ireland Stephen has continued to learn and grow as a songwriter and is now producing some of the most heartfelt and honest music being made today.
Playing alongside the likes of Frances Black, John Spillane, and Janet Holmes, Stephen is fast becoming a firm favourite on the Irish touring scene. His 2007 debut EP ' Raw Soul' received great reviews and good airplay nationally as well as a few T.V appearances on TG4.
Stephen's eagerly anticipated debut album 'The Edge of No Return' was released in May 2009.
