Originally a moniker for David Sheenan’s bedroom-produced tunes, Supernova Scotia became a full band in 2007 with the addition of John Prendergast (of 'Not a Polymath' - Guitar, Keys), Peter Lawlor (of 'Replete' and 'Lobster Socks' Guitar, Bass), Neil Quigley (of 'Jazz Panda' and 'Lobster Socks' - Drums, Guitar) and Niall O’Regan (of 'Pello' - Bass, Keys).

Amongst other things, Supernova Scotia like walks in the park, sunny days, the sweet sounds of The Jackson 5 and Earl Grey tea.
