The Drive

The Drive is a four piece rock/blues band from the area around Clonmel in Ireland. The band also has a two piece brass section; trumpet and saxophone. The Drive's music is Rock N Roll with a bluesey edge also integrating Reggae and Folk elements. The Drive are hugely influenced by an extensive range of artists such as the Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Johnny Cash and Jimi Hendrix. The Drive write a substantial amount of original music as a collective unit while also occasionally playing cover versions of classic songs live.
