The GetUp

The GetUp are a 4 piece from the North-East of Ireland making electronic alternative dance
music.
The band were formed by a mutual love of alternative music infused with synth and other
electronic elements and the desire to create something different to what was happening in
the Irish music scene at the time.
They have been playing together for the last couple of years and have entertained many
audiences in Dublin and nationwide including recent notable slots at Body&Soul, 96/1 and
Le Cheile Arts and Music festivals. The band has also gotten some airplay in 2015 on RTE
2XM and some other digital radio broadcasts.
The GetUp are currently recording their debut E.P. due for release independently this year
(with some bigger shows to support it) but have also taken the time out to record and
release their first music video for ‘Holy Moley’ and to play a handful of dates around the
country in the meantime.
