THE MIGHTY STEF

The Mighty Stef are an experimental rock n roll group from Dublin, Ireland. The band is made up of Stefan Murphy [Vocals / Guitar] Daniel Fitzpatrick [Guitar] Gary Lonergan [Bass] and Brian Farrell [Drums]. All members play a key part in the songwriting process.

2013 saw the band record an album with US producer Alain Johannes [QOTSA / Them Crooked Vultures / Mark Lanegan] at his home studio in Hollywood, LA.

On the live front, the band played at SXSW in the US, Forbidden Fruit & Electric Picnic in Ireland and support shows with Bob Geldof, Flogging Molly and Masters of Reality at home in Ireland and the UK and also in the US.

In November TMS released a three track EP on limited edition vinyl in Ireland. The EP has received praise from Irish press and the track 'Vampire, Hold Me Tight' was the most played Irish track on Irelands leading alternative radio station 'Phantom FM' in December 2013. The band also sold out prestigious Dublin venue Whelans in the month of December.
