“Layman” a brand new track from the band will be on general service in January 2012 and is released as a free download mid February 2012. Recorded in Westland Studios in Dublin, The Rambleers see this track as an extension of the current album “Roots”.
"Formed in 2005, The Rambleers are a four-piece rock band from Dublin City. Songwriter Steve met Ciaran and Peter while working in the famous Dublin music store landmark, Waltons.With Ray completing the line up."
The band’s debut album was released independently in March of 2011 on Villanova Records and is available from iTunes and select Dublin stores including the aforementioned Waltons.

With airplay across a series of radio stations including RTE 2,Phantom and Radio Nova and a plethora of independent local stations together with some pretty great comments from print and on line parishes “Roots” has been very well received.

The band’s live calendar in 2011 as a result has been suitably packed including Knockanstockan Festival, Vantastival, Rory Gallagher Festival in Ballyshannon, The Button Factory, The Workmans Club, Whelans and The Grand Social in Dublin together with a number of regional shows.
