About Ultan Conlon
Ultan Conlon is from the town of'Loughrea' in the Co.Galway. At the age of 28 he already has two solo projects under his belt - a live E.P. in 2002 and his self-titled E.P. in 2005. His last project saw him joining forces with a fellow Galwayman, John Conneely, for the interesting live act that was UltanJohn (www.myspace.com/ultanjohn) His first studio album is almost complete and is entitled 'Bless Your Heart'.It is currently in the mixing stages and will be mastered in London on March 31st by the legendary engineer 'Ray Staff'.More info will follow shortly... Ultan's songs have garnered a lot of interest, with one of his tracks featuring in a British short film "The Beholder", which featured at the Cannes Film festival. Last year the legendary John Martyn featured on a recording of one of Ultan's songs "Really Gone". Ultan has played at the Electric Picnic, and he has supported John Martyn, Mark Geary, Roesy, Sabrina Dinan,David Kitt and The four of Us amongst others.
