In early 2006 the core of wokajo started jamming in a seperate band playing cover gigs for beer money while in college. It soon became clear that we were much more driven to go do our own stuff so in late 2007 we split with our drummer and singer and formed Wokajo (pronounced Wok-A-JOE) to do our own thing. This was followed by the indipendant release of our first single Insignificant and as much gigs as we could get. We live for the road. We are due to release a short Ep titled "Viva le tang" later this year for digital download.
