AILSHA – Ireland’s ‘Princess of Gaeilgoths’ – has been turning heads since she burst onto the alternative music scene in 2023. Known for her unique blend of alt-metal and high-energy 'sparklecore' vibes, AILSHA has quickly become a leading force in Ireland's alt scene.
Her career took off after becoming runner-up in Ireland’s Eurosong Competition for Eurovision 2024 with her infectious single "Go Tobann". That spotlight led to headline shows and a gig as host of AMPLIFY on RTÉ2XM, where she champions boundary-pushing alternative artists.
AILSHA’s live shows have been just as impactful. She’s supported WARGASM (UK) on their Venom Album Tour and Punk Rock Factory on their Stick To The Covers Tour, playing iconic venues like Academy Green Room and Cyprus Avenue. In 2024, she embarked on her debut Ireland and UK tour, with highlights including Upgrade in London, headlining Saint Luke's Church in Glasgow, and Letterkenny Pride.
Internationally, her music has made waves with eight consecutive releases featured on BBC Radio 1, including 'Future Flavour' on Future Alternative and ‘Track of the Week’ on Introducing Rock. Her tracks have landed on key Spotify editorial playlists and Amazon Music’s Alt Scene, where she appeared as the cover star.
With several singles hitting #1 on the Irish iTunes Charts, AILSHA is proving herself as a force to be reckoned with.
