“Certain Days” offers both frustration and optimism in its bass-heavy drive and dreamy synth swells. The vocal melody dances with a gritty synth line and interjections of mischievous guitar frills. You can almost hear the craving for certain days fizzing on Logan's tongue as she lambasts the fools spouting nonsense we're supposed to be 'led' by and thinks back to simpler times.
Aislinn Logan's single 'Never Stay Low' sought to charge the listener with renewed faith in their pursuit, whatever that may be. Channelling ‘Go Your Own Way’ sentiment and paying homage to Phil Collins rhythm, the track's percolating guitar riffs effortlessly hooked the ear. Her track, ‘What Everybody’s After’ saw Aislinn talk matter of factly about love, finding an ever-elusive magic dust. Its glistening melody showed Logan’s flair for writing. Both cuts were well-received by national radio and press.
Aislinn Logan's work features brilliant melodies held by striking rhythms and a unique turn of phrase. It's an uncommon pop sound with a smooth blend of genres.
