Allie Bradley is an emerging artist from Maghera, Co. Derry who is having a great year so far. She has completed an Irish tour, released new EP 'Two' and sold out her EP launch in Belfast. Allie recently formed a live band and has already played several successful gigs including the Ruby Sessions in Dublin and Radar Belfast with the hotly-tipped Silhouette. Despite their recent formation BBC Ulster's Across The Line stated that "you would think that they have been together for years".
Since the release of 'Two' Allie has carried out interviews and sessions on Radio Ulster shows Gerry Kelly, Alan Simpson, Gerry Anderson and Ralph McClean and Downtown's George Jones show. She has also featured in Hot Press magazine, Irish News, Belfast Telegraph and named one of the five hottest faces in the Ulster Music scene in the Sunday World alongside Rainy Boy Sleep, Our Krypton Son, Silhouette and The Hard Chargers.
New single 'I Need Money' has been play listed on U105 and Downtown. Allie was recently the main support to Duke Special.
Allie is currently working hard in the studio continually writing and perfecting material, recording a new batch of songs, playing gigs and practicing with the band. UK and Irish tours are in the works for the last quarter of the year.
"...In a sea of singer-songwriters, it can be hard to find anyone with the looks, musical talent and that elusive magical ingredient that will help them take it up to the next level.
Allie Bradley has all those attributes and more. Blessed with a voice that can wrap itself around soul and pop with equal ease, Bradley has been building a solid reputation on the live circuit for the last couple of years." - Ralph McClean, BBC Radio Ulster
" I adore the variety in this EP and the third track ‘I Will Follow’ adds a continental feel. A twangy guitar riff and slowly building background rhythm, advancing from brushes to clapping and even an electric guitar bridge thrown in at the end has created a delightful mix. At some points throughout the track I can close my eyes and become convinced that I’m strolling down a Spanish boulevard. This is my new summer track." - Chord Blossom reviewing 'Two'
