Baile An Salsa
Formed in 2012 in Galway City, Baile an Salsa are an international band comprised of nine world-class musicians. The band seamlessly blends their passion for traditional Irish music with Latin Rhythms creating a fusion which they call "Salsa-Trad", and its appeal is apparent in the band's growing Irish and international fan base.
There was a strong positive reaction to their self-titled debut EP in Ireland and abroad: it charted at No. 2 in Colombia earlier in early 2014, and Radio PIN (Poland) featured one track as its Song of the Week. In South America, one of the biggest Uruguayan Broadcasters, Radio “Sarandi” chosen also one of the songs as song of the month by Mr.Jaime Clara. The EP also reached as far as Asia, where Baile an Salsa songs were played at Salsa Festivals in Singapore and China with huge reactions (you can see the videos from china on our page).
In Ireland, Baile an Salsa were selected as the "Play Irish" artist on Galway Bay FM & Album of the week By Donall McRuari at RTE Rnag, among other distinctions.
They have performed various Live TV programs, including a live appereance on RTE1's "The Late Late Show" and a recent program for TG4 Imeall about the 3 years of Baile An Salsa that will be broadcasted on the 25th November 2015.
