In 2023, Bianca released two captivating singles: “Journey to Milky Way,” a song inspired by ancient civilizations and history, recording with bass player Alex Malheiros, one of Brazil’s most influential bassists and former member of the band Azymuth. In his band he has pioneered a one of a kind fusion of space-funk, samba and jazz since the early seventies. “Forever Green,” was the next single released before the album, a song tribute to Ireland. Bianca’s notable 2025 achievement is securing the One Voice Residency at the Roscommon Arts Centre. Developed by Bianca, The Souls of Ranelagh project, a multi-phase historical and artistic initiative, blends research, playwriting and music to illuminate the stories of the Ranelagh site in County Roscommon. Grounded in *The Forgotten Cemetery* by Eileen M. Murphy and Shane Delaney, the project will produce six original songs and incorporate a track from Bianca Fachel’s album, recorded and released last year. This song draws inspiration from the lives, deaths, and experiences of the site’s inhabitants, particularly the discovery of an immigrant woman’s remains—a poignant narrative thread woven into the work.
