Birds Of Burden

Birds Of Burden bring you melodic musings and internal ramblings from Waterford City, Ireland.

The band, formed around the songwriting partnership of Eoin Dalton (Hollerin' Pine) and Joe Meagher (El Hgado No Existe), is completed by Eadaoin Breatnach (Rigout Productions Theatre Company), Heather Troy-Whelan (Broken, Mufasa, Found on the Floor) and Paul McDonald (Blindsite).

The band's sound ranges from driving high-tempo rock to meandering hypnotic airs which interlace to form a highly personal, diary-like lyrical content, taking the folk ballad tradition as a jumping off point.

Their debut album, 'A Conspiracy Of Dust', had its live premiere at Waterford's Imagine Festival in October 2018, and is available now on Bandcamp, all streaming platforms, and on Ltd Edition 12" Vinyl.
