Cascando

Cascando are a Limerick-based roots rock collective made up of almost a dozen artists, although primarily co-ordinated by five core members. Fuelled by a love for country and blues, Cascando fuses strong musical influences of the late 1960s with more modern folk and soul tendencies to bring together an eclectic sound which has been described in a non-professional capacity as ‘music that makes you want to square dance and carve wood.’ With three songwriters and an affinity for harmonies, some people might say that Cascando want to be Crosby, Stills and Nash really, really badly.
