Catriona O'Donovan

Catriona has been singing and playing music since her school days. Her first recording success was in 1989 with a song entitled "In An Irish Country Home" which went straight into the Irish Charts at no. 12. She received a gold disk for this song due to her phenomenal sales. Catriona was awarded the "Southern Star Show Biz" awards for best Local Act in 1989, 1990 & 1991. She has had many popular recordings over the years but her song "Darling Say You Love Me When I Am Old" was a huge success and was one of the most requested songs on local radio stations throughout the country.
Catriona is a multi-instrumentalist and plays fiddle, banjo, mandolin, accordion & keyboards. Her album Catriona's Favourite Songs & Tunes features Catriona playing the fiddle and accordion on some tracks.
This album was followed by the albums "Love Me When I'm Old" and "Hand in Hand".
