Daniel Wheatley

Daniel Wheatley is Songwriter/Producer. Formerly frontman of Ibex having released an Album , an EP and 5 Singles, Daniel has release his first solo acoustic EP in November 2024 which is a live , video EP titles Allusions that can only be found YouTube. Following this release Daniel has released the soundtrack of a feature film in January 2025 title Life Once More Directed by Scott O'keefe which was recorded in 2021. Daniel was sound designeer, post production of audio and wrote compositions for Life Once More and It,Goes On a second feature film also directed by Scott O'keefe with the soundtrack for this film to be released in 2025, It Goes On was recorded in 2023.

Daniel is an Alternative songwriter drawing influences from Jeff Buckley and John Martyn using finger style ,open tuning guitar combined with dynamic full range vocals and emotional songwriting. Currently Daniel is releasing a backlog of music from film projects, while Daniels style as a guitarist and vocalist has evolved since those projects where complete he is releasing them with an aim to record an album in 2026 of all new work that highlights his performance and songwriting as it is now , bursting onto the scene and performing as much as possible.
