Dara Eaton and the Patsy's aim to record exciting, dynamic tracks in their home studio and put on captivating and engaging live shows wherever they perform. With two albums released to date (Genuine Pig in 2021 and Four Chord Pile Up in 2023) and more on the way, the band has a rich back catalogue of tunes to go back through. Dara writes the chords and lyrics and gives the rest of the band the creative freedom to fill in the gaps with their respective talents. The natural chemistry they share as not only musicians but as friends makes their performances a joyful experience to be a part of. Whether it's a full electric set at the Carlow Arts Festival or a stripped back acoustic set at the YoungBlood Session in Scraggs Alley, or even busking in the Fairgreen Shopping Centre, the band is always eager to adapt their sound to new environments and play to new crowds. We love the music we make, and we eagerly await any opportunity to share it with the world.
