Daragh

“Daragh” is the aptly named recording project of Daragh Wearen Murphy. Inspired by everyday life. Formerly the guitarist and songwriter of Company Ink - a band that made big waves in the Norwegian music scene in 2018, earning a nomination for indie band of the year by P3, (Norway’s biggest radio station) as well as playing festivals like by:Larm, Øya, Slottsfjell and Pstereo to name a few. Daragh earned a name for himself through his distinctively melodic guitar parts and funky bass lines. The band received very positive reviews from CLASH, The Line of Best Fit and When The Horn Blows among others. Since then however, Daragh has taken on the role of lead singer by going solo. Two of his previous singles, “Stay the Same” and “All Those Things” have been played consistently on Norwegian radio and have been on rotation at NRK P3.
