Dissolutes debut album Brutal Theatre is a discordant and riotous assault on the senses from four men too young to give up and two old to give a fuck. From the whiskey soaked gutters of rock and roll comes a howl of defiance and bloody minded bravado.
The anguished growl rising from Paul Power’s ravaged soul owes a debt to Howlin’ Wolf. The band’s sound fuses the shuddering riffs of Led Zepplin with the unorthodox, fractured spontaneity of Captain Beefheart.
Dissolutes comprise of Paul Power (vocal) and Darrin Mullins (guitar) formerly of the Driven, Ian Walsh (drums) ex Bass Odyssey and Paco Cuence a veteran of surf and punk from all over Europe on bass.
