Doxy
Doxy are a fast paced band consisting of four brothers drawing inspiration from bands like The Fall and The Wedding Present. We deliver oblique guitar driven songs with askew literate lyrics and trance-robotic asymmetrical rhythms at breakneck pace, combined with a talent for penning over the top descriptions of said songs.
Doxy are a four piece from Kilcoole, Wicklow who recorded their debut EP In a Huff with Tantrums in the summer of 2011 and their new Ep "Shoulder High in Gibberish" was completed in a shed amongst a sea of bungalows in a cul-de-sac earlier this year.
With two EP's under our belt we are currently working on our upcoming single 'Railway Spine'. Doxy are 20% of the Boosegank collective, the collective set to change the entire course of Indie guitar music in the Kilcoole area. Last December the record label Fat Cat Records featured our music as Demo of the month.
