Dr Slacke & The Palpitations

Slacke is a 4 piece band from Cavan town consisting of Daragh Slacke, Josh McClory, Liam McCabe, and Barry Fitzgerald.

This year the band are releasing their second album “Pook The Destroyer.” the launch coincides with a tour of Ireland, along with two videos which Slacke are currently producing.

Pook the Destroyer has echoes of hard rock, funk, spoken word/storytelling and disco.
Additional musicians featured on the album Clara Rose (Clara Rose Band) on backing vocals, and Robbie Perry (Dead Can Dance) on percussion and backing vocals. Slacke self produced the album and it was mixed and mastered by Martin Quinn (Jam Studios).
