Dylan Harcourt

Singer-songwriter // Finglas, Dublin // He/Him

Dylan Harcourt has become an artist to keep an eye on in recent years and Whelan’s agrees, making him part of the Ones To Watch Festival ‘24 and ‘25.

His authentic and serious approach to songwriting paired with his very unserious comedy sketches for social media and high energy live performances have earned him a dedicated following in the folk and indie music scenes.

Dylan's music seamlessly blends traditional Irish influences, contemporary folk arrangements and elements of rock creating a sound that is both timeless and fresh. He’ll be bringing that sound across Ireland with a April/May tour.

Since signing a management deal with Grafton Talent in August of 2024 Dylan has recorded an EP produced by Tim Bran (London Grammar, The Verve, Birdy) with string arrangements and performances by Davide Rossi (Coldplay, Depeche Mode, U2).

The first single from the EP (and titular track) ‘Mother’ is releasing March 7th 2025 and will be followed up with the release of a full EP. Mother is a reflective piece looking back on his childhood and the relationship he has with his mother. It’s a song about overcoming the trauma of domestic violence and moving beyond the strain it put on their relationship to achieve acceptance, understanding and forgiveness. The song came about from a conversation where Dylan realised he was not so sure if he would be equipped to make the right decisions in the same situation and that his mother was also a victim of DV.

The full EP will release in April in line with the launch of the tour.
