Eddie Winston

Eddie Winston is a soulful and inspiring upcoming Irish singer/songwriter out of Ballymun, Dublin,
Ireland. A fan of music from a young age, and first picked up the guitar when he ended up in prison. After
years in years of in and out of prison and addiction, after 25 years in he finally got drug free and persued
his love of music and songwriting. Influenced by the likes Christy Moore, Red Hot Chili Peppers, he makes
folk /contemporary music. Blending acoustic guitar with inspiring and contemporary lyrism, tackling
serious issues in people lives such as homelessness, drug use and loss of someone close.
Eddie’s music is a combination of folk/ contemporary and social comment. Its honest and authentic lyrics
speak to the struggle of adversity and overcoming it. His performances and music evoke a very emotive
response from audiences
Has played at multiple venues such as, The Civic Center, Sean O’Casey Theatre, The Sugar Club, Dublin
Simon Communities Big Busk, The Axis Center. Has performed on Liffey Sound Radio live show. Also has
performed at multiple open mic nights, the Zodiac Sessions, Whelan's etc
