EDFT

EDFT play a high-energy brand of guitar and drum-based dance music and fuse influences as diverse as Calvin Harris, Faithless, Kings of Leon and Rage Against The Machine. They merge euphoric dance grooves with songs influenced by their lives and the rural landscape that surrounds them.

In late 2013 the band recorded the "Grow" E.P. at Grouse Lodge Studios finding a sound that suited their technical precision and love for melody perfectly. Experimentation with guitar synths, whammy pedals, world grooves and many more effects is what gives the band's sound an edge. It is hard to fathom that only three band members are on stage when they play. There are enough pedals in their set-up to make the bridge of the Starship Enterprise look like a Nintendo DS!

The band are highly motivated and dedicated to experimenting with gear to come up with fresh sounds but make sure that song-writing remains the most important aspect of what they do.
