Emma Lou and The Agenda, formed in late 2015, have quickly honed their jazz infused,
R’n’B flavoured brand of soul funk. Spear-headed by the titular Emma Lou, who’s
passionate yet measured vocals form an easy marriage with the supporting The Agenda
with ample aplomb, the Dublin based five-piece echo with the classic vibes of Motown
infused with an unearthed flare that mixes both funk and blues. The eponymous 2016
EP, ‘Emma Lou and The Agenda’ (NuMu Productions), featuring lead single ‘One Good
Reason’, has seen the band’s unique, magnetic stylings showcased to live audiences with
festival appearances throughout 2016 including Longitude & Electric Picnic coinciding
with headlining sets in The Grand Social, Whelan's 'Ones To Watch' as well as an
appearance on the Late Late Show. 2017 will see the release of a second EP, recorded at
Cauldron Studios with Michael Manning (Hozier, Lisa Hannigan, Laura Izibor), further
