Faith Obrien

My name is Faith Francesca Obrien.
I am nineteen years old.
I was born in Ireland but moved to California at a young age and lived there for a few years as my mother is from there. We eventually moved back home to Ireland and have stayed ever since.
I have four sisters, we are a very musical family. All of my father’s side of the family range between being great guitar players to being professional opera singers. I have always loved music growing up but never took a liking to actually playing it until two years ago. I taught myself the accustic guitar from home randomly one day and have not stopped playing since. About a few months after learning guitar i started writing songs to the melody's. It become my passion almost overnight. I have a genetic eye disease called stair gardts that affects my central vision, this leaves me unable to see anything far away or a lot of things going on around me, I find over the years this has made my hearing stronger and I have relied on sound a lot more, making music easy and enjoyable for me compared to other sports or academics that I find very difficult.
