The five-piece Kildare natives joined forces after original members Robert Scanlon and guitarist Harrison Paul did an impressive cover of Rihanna’s “We Found Love,” which reached over 10 million views on YouTube. The duo was subsequently invited to perform the cover on a major stage at The Aviva alongside English pop-sensation Robbie Williams. With an audience of over 50k attentive music aficionados, Robert and Harrison nailed their first major performance. Since then the band has gained considerable recognition and has grown to include sibling and lead vocalists Ashlee Scanlon, vocalist and guitarist Cian Francios, and vocalist and keyboardist Daryl Bengo. Collectively, they are known as Fresh Ré They have toured many cities in Europe and have performed in arenas with over 5,000 attendees. The band headlined their first sold-out show at the Academy Dublin in December 2013 and had debuted their first self-written single, “Young” in the same month, which topped the iTunes RnB Chart at number 1, knocking Robin Thicke off the top spot. Fresh Ré have appeared on Irish television including The Late Late Show twice in a month. They wrote the team song for Operation Transformation in 2012.
