F.R.U.I.T.Y. is the fresh & juicy solo project of Dan O'Rawe.
A punk drummer turned producer, experimental music maker. Snyths, drums & dead-pan vocals make for a unique genre that is difficult to label.
F.R.U.I.T.Y's musical offerings are intense and will grab your attention. Queer and wildly proud of it, the name F.R.U.I.T.Y is the reclaiming of the derogatory term 'fruit' which is used to insult queer folk.
F.R.U.I.T.Y may have started in lockdown but it has grown from a musical collective 'Conglomerate' , a collection of musicians who created music through Dan's production.
Taking the music to a new level, Dan takes musical risks that most definitely pay off. Despite starting in lockdown, Dan has released 1 single & 2 tracks for compilation albums.
First, their track 'Pigeon Heart' for Bangers & Mash Ups curated by Belfast punks Problem Patterns. Secondly their cover of Bela Lugosi's Dead by Bauhaus for a Scottish Label called Heavenly Creatures.
Coming to a stage near you soon.
