We are Glass Onion, a three piece band from Dublin, Ireland. We started playing together in the summer of 2024.
Our music is inspired by '60s and '70s Rock, Soul, Pop, and Brazilian Music. Influences from artists like The Beatles, Os Mutantes, Pink Floyd, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil and others.
Our set is a mix of covers of '60s and '70s songs and a few originals.
The band started as a project to record and perform songs for band member's Mateus Casagrande's dissertation, who graduated in Music Production and Recording from Pulse College in 2024. Jo˜áo Zappula co-writes some of the songs and arrangements and Hudson Goulart works the drums and percussive elements.
