Gorbachov

Gorbachov began in early 2004. They quickly made a name for themselves on the local music scene in Waterford. Rave reviews led to gigs all over Ireland and support slots with some of Irelands biggest acts! In mid 2006 the chov were approached by Liverpool based record label Pirate Industries, the plan was to go to Liverpool to record their debut album. After almost a year in Liverpool recording and gigging, Gorbachov returned to Ireland armed with their first album. They beat over 250 bands to win Murphy’s Live in 2008 and have since been to Latvia where they warmed up the stage for Fat Boy Slim. They have been busy working on new material and playing gigs all over Ireland for the past 6 months. The Chov aim to please and will never disappoint!
