Greg Tisdall

Indie // Dublin, Dublin // He/Him

Greg Tisdall is an unconventional indie artist from the very center of Dublin city. His music takes from emotional balladeers like Elliot Smith and Jeff Buckley and contemporary internet favorites like Dominic Fike and Kevin Abstract in equal measure. While not bound by genre, he's been described as "one of the artists on the forefront of future R&B in Ireland" (EARMILK).

Tisdall has garnered praise and Spotify editorial attention for poppy RnB numbers like ‘CELLPHONE’ and ‘AM I STILL ON YOUR MIND?’ yet recent releases ‘sheets’ and ‘it don’t make sense to me’ see Tisdall heading down a hazier, indie, self reflective road. Lyrically, Tisdall’s new offerings focus more on introspective matters like mental health and isolation.

Of his latest release, Hot Press highlighted how “Tisdall continues to push boundaries and explore new sonic territories” and Goldenplec praised its “dreamy indie-shoegaze inspired landscape”.

While Greg Tisdall’s output is ever changing, the energy and connectivity of his live shows is constant. “This pop artist is a natural performer, matching original material with a stage presence that was captivating” (Trinity News). Tisdall's “emotive and dance-inducing” (Golden Plec) live sets have sold out venues across Dublin including Whelans, Workmans and Bello Bar, earning Tisdall and his six piece band slots at Forbidden Fruit and All Together Now last summer.

Greg Tisdall will release his sophomore EP ‘nosebleed’ this coming Summer.
