Manifesto

Guerilla State are an emerging Irish rock group from Belfast, with a strong musical commentary on the social and political intricacies of the modern world.
Guerilla State offers a global perspective on governmental affairs and failings in an age of misinformation; shedding a light of transparency, unrestricted and uninfluenced from the pressures of social conformity.
Guerilla State embodies a fearless form of expression in an age of artistic suppression, a philosophy of autonomy.
On 15th January 2021 we released our first statement with the debut single ‘Never taking Me’, which was described as ‘flawless!’ by Official Flare magazine and ‘as sweeping and cinematic as it gets’ by Conn Thornton from Sezhoosays.
On 5th March 2021, we released our debut EP ‘Autonomy: Part One’ across all streaming platforms. Described as ‘sweeping choruses and shout-at-the-top-of-your-lungs choruses’ by Rockandrollfables, the 6 track EP also featured the previously released ‘Never Taking Me’.
On June 11th we released ‘Handle with Care’, which was the first track off the next upcoming EP, complete with an accompanying video.
On July 23rd we released our second song ‘Disobey’ from the upcoming EP.
'Night in the Wild', the third single from the EP, was released on the 29th October.
Sinusoidalmusic.com writes 'An outstanding composition that will keep the listener engaged to the very end!'
Autonomy: Part II, the second EP was released on 24th December.
In 2022, Guerilla State released a standalone single 'Just a Child'.
Currently, Guerilla State are working on bringing their music to the live scene, transitioning from a once only digital band to a fully fledged live outfit.
