Hannah McConnell

Singer-songwriter // Kilcoole, Wicklow // She/Her

Hannah McConnell is a Wicklow born singer-songwriter drawing inspiration from an array of artists, including Lizzy McAlpine, Adrianne Lenker, The Cranberries and Searows. With her writing rooted in emotional honesty, her sound blends acoustic intimacy and dynamic energy. “You could easily hear this one on the radio, or equally, on a moody walk with headphones in. It’s got that kind of versatility.” (Alan Robinson, 2025).

Since the release of her 2023 debut single ‘Crocodile Tears’, Hannah has established herself as a promising emerging artist. She has headlined iconic Dublin venues including The Workman’s Club, The Grand Social, performed in Whelan’s as part of their Ones to Watch festival, and supported acts such as Calum Agnew and Peter Richardson.

More recently the release of her debut ep ‘Fractures’ further cemented her rising profile. With nearly 12k streams, this EP earned Hannah placement on playlists such as ‘Made In Ireland’ and ‘Genuine Irish’ and received radio coverage for singles ‘Eulogy’, and ‘The Letter’, which were featured on RTE 2FM’s New Music Show with Beta Da Silva.

With a growing live presence and a sound that balances vulnerability with strength, Hannah McConnell continues to carve out a distinctive space within Ireland’s contemporary music scene.
