Soulful. Uplifting. Infectious.
Heartbroken in London, KALLA poured himself into his upcoming self-produced Indie Soul EP ‘Transitions’.
Taking a massive risk relocating to London, the half Irish-Indian Belfast born songwriter set off with nothing but a plane ticket and his guitar.
It soon paid off when he was selected from over 2000 people to be a part of a cutting edge Incubator program, Qube Futures. There he was mentored by Plastician, Eliza (FKA Eliza Doolittle), Worldwide FM’s Charlie Dark, Stormzy and Dave's Mix Engineer, Manon Grande Jean, and TMS producer, Froe Barnes, who has worked with artists such as Lewis Capaldi, Dua Lipa, and John Legend. Cementing himself as the London’s best kept secret, KALLA has been a stalwart in writing sessions with the most exciting acts the alternative scene has to offer. Now gaining even more momentum, Kalla has announced his first full band show at Paper Dress Vintage, Hackney, for an exciting Alt Soul night.
Moving forward, KALLA is set to release "U.ME.US.HIM", 31st March, the first installation of his debut EP, the track reflects on that one situationship we've ALL had. UMUH takes the listener on a journey through love, loss, and self-discovery. The release will mark a new chapter in KALLA's journey, and fans are sure to be blown away by his unique Indie Soul sound.
