Jack Lynskey is an indie pop singer-songwriter from Dublin, Ireland.
Singing from a young age, in environments such as choirs, musicals and variety shows, Jack has developed into a mature vocal talent. A tenor voice and a powerful falsetto, he has a unique style and range, which makes him identifiable amongst his peers.
He has been writing songs from age the age of 14, first for his band Easy Target, to whom he was the lead singer, and now as a solo artist, and cites his main musical influences as David Bowie, the Beatles, Florence + the Machine, Madness, Lady GaGa, Arctic Monkeys, Lily Allen, Jack Johnson and Lana Del Rey.
A passionate and expressive performer, he is no stranger to the limelight, performing in venues such as the Academy 2, the Axis Theatre, the Helix, as well as twice on the radio, and twice on Ireland’s National Television Station, RTÉ. Jack’s performance style has brought him praise from industry professionals, who have noted his ability with expression, dynamics and tone.
Having received an offer to attend a college which specializes in Commercial and Modern Music, Jack is hoping to develop further as a song-writer and performer, and make a name for himself in the music industry.
