James Bentley

James Bentley is a singer-songwriter from Cavan but currently living in Dublin. His music is best described as alternative acoustic, with most of his songs having darker lyrical content and a voice described as “markedly individual”. With influences such as Circa Survive, American Football and Elliot Smith, he brings something raw, emotional and personal to the table with each live performance. James released his debut EP “Happiness” in May 2018, and received a positive review from Irish music critic REMY.

Since the release, James has been playing gigs around both Dublin and Cavan, including a powerful performance at Whelan's Ones To Watch 2019."
